Man

Francesco Colletta, was born at San Giovanni Rotondo-Foggia in 1973. After graduating, he entered upon a military career as officer for four years. His ambition and a bad accident during his duty led him to retrace one’s steps: the conservation and study of the hystorical, Architectonical and naturalistic heritage. So in 2003 he got a degree in Conservator Architect from the Architecture Mediterranean University of Reggio Calabria.

Discovery and Adventure have always been his passions. At the age of 16 he set up the Aram Association for Archaeologic Researches occupying himself with researches and studies of the surrounding area of Mattinata and Vieste, rich of archaelogical settlements. Researcher of experimental Archaeology on the Gargano, with Prof. Silvano Borrelli of the University of Turin. He worked together with the Supervision of Archaeological, Environmental and Architectural property of Bari for some projects aiming at the conservation of the territory and at recovering of historical areas and handworks. In 1993 he obtained the first subaqueons patent, making stronger his love for the sea and anything lives inside it. He collaborated in some underwater archaeological researches with Dipartments and Offices - he look in many spelaearchaelogical expeditions abroad.

The last one in februar 2004 in Chiapas Mexico with Association Laventa. He look part in some documentaries on Gargano both on RAI network and private channels. At present he is working as counselar and restoratio and valorization architectonic enterprises. He is the official Guide of the National Park of Gargano. He is deeply fond of Rugby – he has played in seri C.
